The dosage is as follow:

The standard dose is one 100mg tablet(1 tablet contains 400mg of Flagyl) for daily use. If the dosing schedule is not well absorbed after oral intake, you may take it with food. However, if you take the tablet with a large glass of water, you may skip the dose once you have drunk the water.
The standard course of treatment for infections is 7 days, but in some infections the course is 10 days. In this infection you may need to stay for 2 days before the next infection. Take Flagyl for 7 days after the completion of all treatment.

If you are also taking metronidazole, do not take this medicine. The dose is based on the age and body weight of the patients.
The common side effects of Flagyl 100mg Tablet are nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, increased appetite, diarrhea, fullness of breath, dry mouth, constipation, stomach pain, high temperature, increased thirst, and vomiting. These side effects are usually mild and do not last long. However, if they persist or become severe, you may skip the treatment and continue with your regular diet.
